Prayer Focus:

On July 30 the results of Congo’s presidential elections were announced: no winner. A run-off will be held October 29. However, in the meantime the political situation has been tense. Already more than two dozen have died in fighting among the two finalists’ backers. These have been the first democratic elections in Congo in fifty years. The history of the Stone-Campbell mission in the Congo dates back over 100 years. Please pray for the people of Congo.
