Of the 193 United Nations States, the Stone-Campbell Movement exists in 175. This listing includes other nations and territories, numbering 196 countries where there is at least one representation of our churches.

Background

The Kingdom of Bhutan is is bordered to the north by China and to the south, east and west by India. Bhutan’s capital and largest city is Thimphu. The country’s population was  741,822 as of 2012. In 2008, Bhutan made the transition from absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy and held its first general election. As well as being a member of the United Nations, Bhutan is a member of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).

Buddhist 75%, Hindu 22%, Folk 2%, Other 1%.
