World Convention is currently building a global reference for the countries and territories where we know there are Christian – Churches of Christ – Disciples of Christ Congregations. Of the 193 United Nations States, the Stone-Campbell Movement exists in 176. This listing includes other nations and territories, numbering 198 countries where there is at least one representation of our churches.

Swaziland, officially the Kingdom of Swaziland is surrounded – with the exception of Mozambique to its by South Africa. The country is the last absolute monarchy in Africa, currently ruled by King (Ngwenyama) Mswati III.
83% Christian, 15% of the population follows traditional religions, Islam 1%, the Bahá’í Faith 0.5%, and Hinduism 0.2%. Anglican, Protestant and African Instituted Churches constitute the majority of the Christians (40%), followed by Roman Catholicism at 20%.
In 1967, Africa Christian College (first known as the Church of Christ Bible School in Swaziland and later registered as Manzini Bible School) was founded by leaders of Churches of Christ. Samson and Elline Shandu have worked there for 36 years. See http://www.africanchristiancollege.org/
