Of the 193 United Nations States, the Stone-Campbell Movement exists in 174. This listing includes other nations and territories, numbering 195 countries where there is at least one representation of our churches.

Uruguay is bordered by Argentina to its west and Brazil to its north and east, with the Atlantic Ocean to the south and southeast. Uruguay is home to 3.3 million people, of whom 1.8 million live in the metropolitan area of its capital and largest city, Montevideo.
Catholicism with 45.7% of the population; 9.0% are non-Catholic Christians, 0.6% are Animists or Umbandists (an Afro-Brazilian religion), and 0.4% Jewish. 30.1% reported believing in a god, but not belonging to any religion, while 14% were Atheist or Agnostic.
Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) partners with the Iglesia Metodista en el Uruguay (IMU).
Missions from Churches of Christ include that of D.H. Hadwin (1906-1996) in Montevideo, Uruguay beginning in 1952. Other workers followed in the 1970s to 1990s. Continent of Great Cities (now Great Cities Missions) from Churches of Christ sent mission teams to Montevideo, Uruguay in 1992.
International Churches of Christ have a congregation in Montevideo.
